The Barnardos Mother of the Year award has been scrapped after 25 years.
Media organisations across the country have slammed the organisation’s decision to cancel it, prompting some people to go as far as to send death threats to Barnardos.
In what world is that acceptable?

No, it’s not about being ‘woke’. It’s simply about recognising the wide variety of families Barnardos works with and the incredible work they do.
Instead of throwing hate at this organisation, it’s time we appreciate the incredible work they do and support their decision.
