Warner Brothers has reportedly made a decision on Amber Heard’s future with the DC movie franchise, but the actress has denied these reported rumours.

Heard’s role will be recast, the film company decided after screen testing the movie, a source told Just Jared.

“They are going to be doing reshoots with Jason Momoa and Nicole Kidman,” the insider said. Additionally, the actress recast in Heard’s former role for Aquaman 2 will also play Mera in any future DC films.

Heard, however, said it’s just a rumour.

A spokesperson for Heard told TMZ, “The rumour mill continues as it has from Day One — inaccurate, insensitive, and slightly insane.”

The news outlet reported all of Heard’s scenes as Mera were shot a year ago and she’s already been paid her $2 million.

As for how much screen time Heard is actually getting in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, that’s still unknown.

TMZ reported her screen time was “cut down significantly,” which was seemingly confirmed by DC President Walter Hamada in court.

The news comes about two weeks after Heard’s trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp came to an end.
