Over the weekend, we received an email from a woman named Edwina with the subject, ‘Pick up typewriter from Sylvania and bring it to Ryde’.
Here’s what the email read:
“I have a very strange request. My daughter is buying an antique typewriter for her friend’s birthday as she is doing journalism. The only problem is it is in Sylvania and I live in Ryde so cannot pick it up during lockdown. As Jonesy lives that way and comes to North Ryde for work, any chance he can be my courier??”
