Is that wedding bells we hear?
Former Olympian Lisa Curry has confirmed her engagement to Elvis Impersonator boyfriend Mark Tabone!
Tabone got down on one knee in July while the pair holidayed in Malta.
“I planned exactly how I was going to do it and booked a yacht, a swim in the Blue Lagoon and a sail along the cliffs,” Tabone revealed to New Idea.
The planned proposal also reportedly involved plenty of roses and a sunset dinner.
The couple also took another step forward in their relationship during the holiday, with Curry officially meeting the parents.
“Mark had a couple of shows in Canada and then we decided to go to Malta to see his family,’ Lisa told the Daily Mail in August of this year.
“He had a school reunion over there as well. It was really nice to see everyone.”
The 54-year-old Olympic swimmer confirmed she was dating Tabone in December of last year.
Previously, Curry was married to Grant Kenny – to whom she shares three adult children.
The pair were married from 1986 until 2009.
“When I found myself single, I became quite happy doing my own thing and honestly thought I would never find anyone worth loving again,” she told New Idea.
We are thankful to see that thought has been completely squashed as she embarks on the next chapter of her life.
