Sydney’s Darling Square has transformed into Hello Kitty Town, a three-month long festival celebrating Sanrio and all their beloved characters… including Hello Kitty!

The street festival hosts Australia’s LARGEST Sanrio art exhibition alongside a huge array of fun themed food and drinks.

You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see a HUGE five-metre Hello Kitty inflatable.

The outdoor gallery showcases work from the world’s best-known illustrators and will be up until late April (29th).

This event is part of a series of fun things in store for us Sydneysiders encouraging us back into the city and doing stuff!

Food retailers in Darling Square and getting fully into the event, creating themed items that you won’t be able to resist.

The Sandwich Shop has an adorable Hello Kitty toastie with chips.

Ume Burger has a Bad Badtz-Maru cheeseburger and white peach soda.

Toastie Smith will have 5 limited edition toasties adorned with Hello Kitty ham bows.

Bubble Nini Tea will have KeroKeroKeroppi Matcha and Hello Kitty Strawberry Yoghurt Crush teas.

Auvers Dining has a suite of dishes including the Lazy Egg Burger based on fan favourite Gudetama.

This weekend (5-6th February) will have a special event to celebrate Lunar New Year with Lion Dancers performing at 1pm and 7pm.
