Studio 10 has paid tribute to Erin Jayne Plummer, best-known for hosting Aerobics Oz Style as well as presenting a string of advertorial segments for Channel 10 and Foxtel’s TVSN.

“Erin was just a gorgeous human inside and out and if it wasn’t for TV perhaps Erin Jayne might have had a sporting career,” Sarah Harris said on Monday morning.

“She represented Australia in synchronised swimming and even surf lifesaving. There is no question that Erin Jayne was a high achiever and certainly a gold medal mum to her three young girls. We’ll miss your sunshine around the studio Erin Jayne, and all of us here are sending lots of love and strength to her family. You’ll be very missed.”

Erin was discovered among hundreds of beach goers to be in a TV commercial which soon led to an entire career in front of the camera.

On Ten’s Mornings With Kerri-Anne, The Morning Show and The Circle, Erin became known as ‘The Danoz Girl’ in various ad spots which perfectly set her up to present on Foxtel’s TVSN for many years. She was also a Beach Reporter for the Coolangatta Gold.

But her biggest gig would have to be presenting Aerobics Oz Style, which she did for six years in front of a global audience of 40 million people.
