Today marked 30 years since our very own Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones began his career in commercial radio.

Back in 1990, Brendan Jones was a young radio-enthusiast desperate to get his foot in the industry. After training in radio (yes, he is actually trained, lo and behold), he got his start on radio in Karratha, and the rest in history.

Over the past week, we’ve compiled our favourite moments from Jonesy’s early years of radio, and to say it’s hilarious would be an understatement.

Good on you, Jonesy!
