While Gary Jubelin may have been a polarising figure in the NSW Police Force, the former homicide Detective is considered one of the country’s most recognisable homicide detectives.

He has led investigations into the disappearance of William Tyrrell, the serial killing of three Aboriginal children in Bowraville and the murderer Jeffrey Hillsley, who once described himself as ‘Walking Evil’.

Despite leaving the police force in 2019 after being convicted of illegally recording four conversations with a former suspect in the hunt for missing toddler William Tyrrell, he remains passionate about the case, telling Jonesy & Amanda that the “family and community needs answers”.
