An investigation is underway following a motorcycle and bus crash in Sydney’s south yesterday (29th September), that has left a man in a critical condition.
About 5.35pm on Tuesday, emergency services were called to the intersection of Defries and Gadigal Avenue, Zetland, after reports a motorcycle and bus collided.
The motorcyclist, a 43-year-old man, was treated at the scene by witnesses before NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived. He was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the bus, a 63-year-old man, was uninjured and taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from South Sydney Police Area Command established a crime scene, and specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
