A motorcyclist has died in hospital following a collision with a bus in Sydney’s south earlier this week.

Just after 5.30pm on Tuesday (29 September 2020), emergency services attended the intersection of O’Dea and Gadigal avenues, Zetland, after reports a motorcycle and bus had collided.

The motorcyclist, a 43-year-old man, was treated at the scene by witnesses before NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived. He was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital with leg and head injuries, however, he died last night (Wednesday 30 September 2020).

The bus driver, a 63-year-old man, has since been charged by officers from the Crash Investigation Unit and remains before the court.

Inquiries are continuing.
