Notorious serial killer Ivan Milat has reportedly been transferred to intensive care at a Sydney hospital as he fights terminal oesophagus and stomach cancer.

The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday reported the 74-year-old has been moved to Sydney’s Prince of Wales Hospital annex to the ICU, with additional guards drafted in.

Milat has been undergoing chemotherapy at the hospital.

Milat was found guilty in 1996 of murdering seven backpackers, whose bodies were found in makeshift graves in Belanglo State Forest in the 1990s.
