Stan Kirsch, star of the ’90s TV series ‘Highlander’, has passed away at the age of 51.
A statement on Kirsch’s Facebook page said that the renowned actor tragically passed away on January 11. Heavy reports that the actor took his own life.
Stan Kirsch played the role of Richie Ryan on the TV incarnation of the 1986 cult classic ‘Highlander’ which ran for six seasons from 1992-1998. In 1995, the actor appeared on the hit series ‘Friends’ where he played the part of Ethan, a man who dates Monica. The episode prompted some controversy after Monica discovers that Ethan is a high school student.
Up until his death, Kirsch had been running an acting school with his wife, Kristyn Green.

Incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Stan Kirsch. I met him some 25 years ago working staff at the first Highlander the TV Series convention in Denver, CO.
