A few days ago, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced that once we hit the goal of six million first-dose vaccinations across NSW we would receive a ‘treat’.
We reached that goal and subsequently received another ‘freedom’, but only for those who have received both doses of the vaccine.
So, what was that ‘treat’?
Well, for those outside the Local Government Areas of concern, up to five people will be allowed to gather outdoors, but they will have to live within the same local government area or within 5km of home.
For those who live in the LGAs of concern, vaccinated adults who live in the same household will be able to gather outdoors for an hour for recreation, including picnics.
It’s safe to say that some people weren’t satisfied.
