Hundreds of fans have reportedly walked out of a Crusty Demons motorbike show at Campbelltown Sports Stadium because it contained “just five minutes” of motorcycle stunts.
At $139 a ticket, fans were promised death-defying stunts, pyrotechnics and “one hell of a show”, but instead, were given a show that contained five minutes of tame jumps and a burnout.
“It was a total disaster,” father-of-three Ryan Baker told news.com.au.
“I’ve never been to a worse event in my entire life. Hundreds and hundreds walked out in disgust.
“It was my seven-year-old son’s first-ever motorbike show and it was so boring that he said he never wants to go to one ever again.”
Over 500 people have reportedly complained about the show, with many taking to social media to vent their frustration.
“How do I go about getting a refund for last night’s show ???” one spectator wrote.
Another added, “VIP tickets were an absolute JOKE, worst seats in the venue. You couldn’t see s**t”.
Many complained that the show simply consisted of an hour of “boring interviews” before a five-minute show of stunts.
“YOU GUYS SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER !!!,” a fan wrote on Instagram.
“If safety is number 1 the show should have been cancelled no questions!!!! NOW! It’s the fans that make this happen!!! SO YOU GUYS NEED TO OFFER A FULL REFUND! Also consider indoor shows !! ALSO YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER WHETHER IT COMES DOWN TO COST TO YOU OR NOT!! SAFTY IS PARAMOUNT!!!”
None of the attendees have been offered refunds yet, but have been offered tickets to the rescheduled event.
