A two-year-old Queensland boy has tested positive to coronavirus.

The boy, who had recently returned from overseas, takes the number of active cases in Queensland to four.

Health Minister Steven Miles said the boy, from Brisbane’s south side, is one of Queensland’s youngest cases of a total of 1064.

“I understand they’re not seriously unwell, but with regards to their level of symptoms, I don’t have that advice,” he told reporters on Friday.

Mr Miles said the family quarantined in Victoria before returning to Queensland.
