If we were to poll for Australia’s favourite foods, chances are Burgers would be right up there, and some of the best are from right here in Sydney.

From Burger Point to Burger Head, to Happy Ending Burgers and heaps more, we have some great burger restaurants. Great news is, next month, they’ll all be in one place for one huge expo.

On the 11th of August, a collective of Australia’s top burger joints will be meeting in Sydney to showcase the best burgers on offer from all around the country, thanks to The Burger Collective. The Market Canopy in Sydney’s Entertainment Quarter at Moore Park will be filled with the signature creations of all these restaurants, with some special guests to boot.

Alvin Cailan, founder of Eggslut (one of the top burger chains in the USA), and host of The Burger Show will be making his first visit to Australia, and supposedly Alvin and The Burger Collective have some surprises in store. There are also more special guests yet to be announced. Alvin originally launched Eggslut as a popup that now sees regular lines that can wrap around the block to get a taste of his to-die-for burgers.

As well as the best burgers in the country, the expo will also feature a stack of extra fun activities, like a PS4 FIFA zone, burger masterclasses and a Tabasco tent with a chilli competition.
