It was considered one of the most glamorous mansions in the Beverly Hills area, but now the notorious Playboy Mansion has been left to rot.
Since Hugh Hefner’s death in 2017, the property has been stripped by looters and has subsequently decayed after years of abandonment.
However, the party palace is now undergoing major renovations after it was sold for $100 million prior to Hefner’s death.
The Sun report that the property’s famous pool has been drained, the grounds have been torn up, and the mansion is surrounded by scaffolding.

Various sources have told the publication that looters raided the mansion and stole most of the property’s contents, including sex toys, used sheets, furniture, and even pieces of rock.
The Playboy’s Mansion’s new owner, billionaire Daren Metropoulos, plans to restore the 29-room palace to its “original grandeur” which will require “substantial renovations and repairs following a long period of deferred maintenance”.
It was heavily reported by various playmates over the years that the mansion’s interior was extremely run down and in need of heavy renovations. However, nothing was done, and it continues to look like it’s stuck in the 80s.
Hefner bought the mansion for $1 million in 1971.
