Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced that working holiday visa holders will need to self isolate and register before travelling across the country and beginning work.
The employer of the traveller will be responsible for making sure they have done the right thing before allowing them to start working.
It comes after a discussion around whether the jobs should go to Australians who are now out of work.
The Prime Minister encouraged Australians to still consider agriculture work.
It has also been confirmed that the National Cabinet is close to finalising rental arrangements, which includes a code of conduct for commercial tenancies.
Easter services, places of worship that will be used for broadcasts will be described as ‘workplaces’. Social distancing rules will still apply.
