A school in Sydney’s east has been closed today after a “probable” case of coronavirus was detected, according to 7 News.

All students from Rose Bay Public School will be learning from home today with the school grounds closed as NSW Health investigate the situation.

“The department has been advised by NSW Health that they are investigating a probably case of COVID-19,” the NSW Department of Education said in a statement.

“The safety and wellbeing of our staff and students is of paramount importance, as a precaution the school will be non-operational who we await confirmation from NSW Health.”

This is the third school in Sydney’s east to close due to COVID-19.
