This is absolutely unheard of and honestly, we don’t know what to do with the information other than drool.

A genius restaurant in the Eastern suburbs has decided to throw it all out the window and create a ‘Big Mac risotto.’

For a limited time only Estate in Coogee will be offering up the dish that made headlines, created by Chef Ryan Clift at the famous Tippling Club in Singapore.

Chef Ryan has oh-so kindly shared this recipe with Chef Matt Butcher for Estate.

So what do we need to know? We’re already waiting in line at the restaurant so we’ll catch you up.


The good news? The dish will drop this week alongside a fresh new spring menu and it’ll cost $26 a plate.

The bad news? It will only be around for two months, so you better join us in the queue!

The ‘secret sauce’ risotto base is folded with a crunch of lettuce and topped with waygu, homemade cheese, fermented cucumber pickles, dill and sesame seeds.

We’re sold!
