Now you can recreate a meal that was (literally) fit for royalty!
On April 29, 2011, 300 close friends and the family of Prince William and Princess Kate dined to celebrate their wedding day.
Now, four years later, a menu card from the event is up for auction.
The bidding for the dinner menu will start at $1000.
The menu is printed on thick ivory cardstock and features a green ivy border.
The three course meal started with marinated South Uist salmon, Lyme Bay crab and wild Hebridean langoustines along with fresh herb salad. Guests enjoyed this with a 2009 Meursault, Domaine Guyot-Javillier wine.
The second course featured Saddle of North Highland Mey Select organic lamb, Highgrove spring vegetables, English asparagus, Jersey Royal potatoes and sauce Windsor. This course was paired with a 2004 L’Hospitalet de Gazin, Pomerol wine.
For dessert, a delicious trio of Berkshire honey ice cream, sherry trifle and chocolate parfait, with a Laurent Perrier Rose Champagne.
