Banksia Bakehouse has gone VIRAL this last month because of their crazy delicious creation, the ‘Cramington’, an aesthetically pleasing cube-shaped croissant lamington crossover.

With Easter just around the corner, Banksia has released their Hot Cross Croissant!

Moulded in their signature cube shape, the croissant has a crispy outer shell and is filled with cinnamon Crème patisserie and Aussie Sunmuscat sultanas (I’ve died just reading that.)

Banksia Bakehouse’s Chris Sheldrick. “We wanted to create a special Easter treat using our expertise in croissants and patisserie. With hot cross buns appearing in supermarkets right after Christmas, we didn’t want to create a traditional-style bun, as we felt customers would be tired of them by the time Easter actually came around.”

Banksia prides itself on using Aussie producers and suppliers so you’re looking after your own if you grab a bite to eat here.

The Hot Cross Croissant is available during April, Monday to Friday from 7am to 4.30pm from Banksia Bakehouse, Grosvenor Place Piazza, 225 George Street, Sydney.
