Woolworths, however, has been savage AF about their decision, sassily saying on social media: “haters gonna hate, bakers gonna bake!”
One young woman went far enough to create an online petition to have the traditional Easter treats available all-year round.
“Who wouldn’t love them selves a nice warm toasted hot cross bun in the morning,” she wrote on the petition, which was created yesterday.
Her goal is for 1000 signatures, at the time of publishing this article, she had only garnered 10.
