In the most gin-tastic news we’ve heard all week, Sydney is about to play host to one of London’s infamous gin festivals for the first time ever this year!

It’s called Junipalooza and it’s described as being a “gin geek’s mecca” which basically means that if you’re as big of a gin fan as us, you’re going to want to be there.

Junipalooza has been a longtime favourite event in London, Hamburg and even Melbourne but this year is the first time it will come to our Harbour city.

Yesterday, we announced that we are heading to Sydney in August… ever since the mail box has been packed with enquiries & excitement! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We're so pumped about hosting the inaugural Junipalooza there, celebrating the amazing local distilleries that call the city their home, as well as bringing the most creative craft makers from around the country to join in the fun. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As always, our promise remains simple – either the distiller or brand owner has to be there in person. These are the people who’ve shaken off the shackles of corporate life to do their own thing; they’re inspiring, driven creators who are only too keen to share their adventures with you over an ice cold G&T. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Time to tag a few friends and get planning folks… #Gin #Event #Sydney #Junipalooza

Due to arrive in Sydney in August this year the gin fest will feature dozens of distillers showing off their spirit creations for thirsty gin fans.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing Junipalooza to Sydney for its inaugural year there,” reads the Junipalooza website.

At the festival each guest is given their own tasting glass that will let them taste the more than one hundred different gins on show, either neat or with tonic. You’ll then get to take the glass home as a keepsake afterwards!

You’ll also have the opportunity to buy the gins that tickle your fancy for you to enjoy at home.

The Junipalooza gin festival is going down from Saturday August 22nd to Sunday August 23rd at Carriageworks in Sydney.
