People of Sydney, your prayers have been answered! MyBins, who was founded by Joe Drew and Amos Michael provides a handy ‘bins to kerb’ service, making forgetting to take the bins out a thing of the past.

Currently servicing the lower North Shore area, people in the Mosman, North Sydney and Willoughby areas can now take advantage of this incredible service – for less than the price of a cup of coffee.

“Originally we decided to help elderly and disabled members of the community,” Mr Drew said.
The idea sprung from talking to people like his neighbour and grandmother who had trouble taking out their own bins, he said.

So what does it cost you? Just $1 a bin, with a $5 minimum per visit.

As intended, it seems that elderly and disabled people benefit from this service most, taking up 30 per cent of he clientele. The rest is made up of businesses, apartment blocks and average households.
