Your fave hardware store has added some new headgear to their iconic fashion line.

Along with umbrellas, wide-brim straw hats and the more runway-ready trilby, a new cap is making its way into stores.

An Aussie classic.

Earlier this year, Bunnings had a short run selling their embroidered cord cap – only less than 50 of them were tested out – and it went so well, each store is now getting 300 of ‘em.

Some outlets are already selling them (they’re $10) but most aren’t, so gird ya loins.

BREAKING NEWS – BUNNINGS ARE SELLING THE CORDUROY CAP IN STORES RIGHT ACROSS THE COUNTRY FOR JUST 10 BUCKS – as you know following our massive people power campaign earlier this year Bunnings released a super limited run of less than 50 lids, well I can confirm that Bunnings are now shipping out LITERALLY TENS OF THOUSANDS OF CORD LIDS TO OUTLETS NATIONWIDE – after rumours started trickling in last night of this development I tasked hat enthusiasts to fan out across the country to find out the facts on the ground and here’s the current state of play – it looks like the West is ahead of the rest with almost every Bunnings in Perth flogging lids – Victoria is a mixed bag with around half of stores stocked up – in NSW Chatswood, Bonnyrigg, Belrose, Castle Hill, West Gosford, Kotara, Maitland and country music capital Tamworth all confirmed hot spots – from inside reports Tassie’s supply is en route across the Bass Strait and should be on the shelves next week – in SA Marion is the only sure location and we still don’t have any info on whether QLD, the ACT and the NT have got the goods yet – this is a significant moment for our Movement, with a decent lid now within the grasp of every Australian, proving beyond doubt that we are succeeding in our mission to REVOLUTIONISE THIS COUNTRY’S HAT CRAFT
