It really is a new era that we’re living in amid the coronavirus outbreak with tons of normal activities that we took for granted before this whole social distancing thing being moved online.
With events everywhere being cancelled, crowd restrictions placed on outdoor and indoor venues, and social distancing and self-isolation encouraged to stop the spread of the virus, you’d think that nightclubs are a thing of the past for a while at least.
But a bunch of cleaver mates in Sydney have come up with a solution so that we can still dance the night away while keeping our social distance.
They’ve invented a new online nightclub called Room 2 Radio and it’s basically a virtual DJ gig that’s set to allow you to get groovy in the comfort of your own home.
It all starts tonight (Friday March 20) at 8pm AEDT with local DJs set to perform on your screen until the early hours of the morning.
To make it feel even more like an actual nightclub experience there will be disco lights, drink recommendations and a live online chat for you to socialise with other bedroom party people.
Honestly this feels like some sort of Club Penguin type of nightclub sesh and we LOVE it.
Want to know who will be spinning the tracks tonight? Here’s the full lineup:
– 8-9pm Music for Friends
– 9-10:30pm Hyfe
– 10:30pm-12am Dame and Deepa (Honey Point)
– 12am till close Liam Ebbs (Thomas Gray & Liam Ebbs)
Time to party together while we stay apart! Anyone else going to be attending in their pyjamas?
You can tune in from 8pm through Facebook Live or Twitch. See you virtually there!
