What would you do with 1000kg of the finest European Cheese? If your answer was to throw a festival, invite all of Sydney and enjoy it all together, you’re in luck, the Centre National Interprofessionnel de l’Economie Laitière has a literal tonne of cheese and is doing just that.

The three-day Bon Fromage Cheese Festival will feature everything you could want from a cheese festival; cheese, cheese related foods, cheese related drinks, and cheese related activities.

At some fo their masterclasses, you’ll be able to learn the critical skill of matching beverages to cheeses, the ability to distinguish between various cheeses, as well as the history of the cheeses you’re tasting.

Of course, you’ll be able to try cheeses, on their sixty metre free tasting table, plus with pop-up shops, platters and a wine bar to ensure you’ll be kept fuelled with lactose all day.



Local eateries Koi Dessert Bar, BL Burgers and Loluk Bistro will also be on-site to turn their regular genius into cheese-related glory, with Urban List saying you can expect French cheese desserts, cheeseburgers, and the miracle that is raclette from the three, respectively.

The Bon Fromage Cheese Festival will be on from the 18th to the 20th of October at Carriageworks, tickets are available (for free!) on their website.
