Robin Williams’ son has taken to Instagram to pay tribute to his father on the six-year anniversary of his death.

Zak Williams shared a black and white portrait of the comedian, writing: “Dad, today marks six years since your passing.

“Your legacy lives on in your family and in those who carry your spirit within their hearts.

“We will continue to fight for what’s good in the world, for peace, and for connecting people instead of tearing them apart. Love you so much!”

A few days ago, his younger half-sister Zelda announced that she would be absent from social media on the anniversary of her father’s death.

“Tomorrow is Dad’s death anniversary. As always, I will not be here,” she explained.

“It’s hard for me on regular, good days to remain the person expected to graciously accept the world’s need to share their memories of him and express their condolences for his loss,” she added.

She then posted a list of helplines to her Instagram Stories, followed by a beautiful throwback photo of the pair.

Rest in Peace, Robin.
