Yoko Ono is working on an untitled drama about her life and relationship with the late Beatles’ star John Lennon.
Fifty Shades of Grey producer Michael De Luca has teamed up with Ono, Josh Bratman and The Theory Of Everything writer Anthony McCarten to make the film.
Ono and Lennon’s relationship became an icon of the 60s and 70s with the Beatles star penning a number one UK hit The Ballad of John and Yoko about their wedding in 1969.
It would be the last UK No.1 the Beatles would achieve before disbanding.

Ono and Lennon were strong advocates for peace and often collaborated on music, highlighted by the 1980 album Double Fantasy, released a few weeks before Lennon was murdered in New York City.
She remains active in art and acts as the caretaker of Lennon’s legacy.
De Luca has previously been nominated for three Academy Awards for best picture — Captain Phillips, Moneyball, and The Social Network.
He’s also produced Fifty Shades of Grey, as well as the upcoming Fifty Shades Darker.
