A picture of a man’s parents has gone viral for being, well, everyone’s parents.
Earlier this month, Vishnu, a lawyer from India, tweeted the pic of his parents sitting at the kitchen table packed and ready to head to the airport hours before their flight was scheduled.
“My parents at 10.33am for a flight at 3.10pm” was the deadpan caption.

It clearly struck a chord, with the tweet attracting more than 900 comments, 15,000 retweets and 43,000 likes.
While some tweeters told of their unsurprise due to Indian traffic, many more chimed in on how their parents, regardless of geography, were exactly the same.

You’ve not met Nigerian parents. They are already at the airport by 8a.m for a 3p.m flight.

This was my parents for every trip in my childhood…until that trip to Disney World in the 10th grade when my dad forgot to pack my mom’s suitcase in the car & we got to Disney w/ no clothes for my mom! 🛬 😱 She got a whole new Disney Wardrobe thanks to the hotel gift shop!👸🏼
