Did you know that the way you sleep says a lot about what you’re like in a relationship?
That’s what research from WebMD is saying, and you might be surprised what you learn about yourself.
This is very common for people entering new relationships and apparently says that you’re tough on the outside, but a big old softie inside. You take a while to warm up to someone and even longer to say “I love you”, but once you’re there, your relationships are full of love and trust.
If you sleep with your arms parallel to your torso and legs, you’re a serial dater and go after relationships for the social aspect. You fall for the smooth talkers and the cheaters. You’re easily tricked by the wrong folk.
This is sleeping on your side with both arms out in front of you. Apparently it says that you’re inherently suspicious of others – maybe you’ve been hurt before and are scared to open up again. You don’t easily trust people and you see your relationships as something that will inevitably end.
If you sleep on your back with both arms up around the pillow, you’re a friendly, chilled out lover who floats from relationship to relationship pleasantly, never permanently damaged.
With your fisted hand under your chin, you’re in a similar boat to those who sleep in the fetal position. You’re always analysing those around you.
Lying on your front with your arms around your pillow, you’re shy, non-confrontational and you don’t fight for your relationship because you don’t feel you should have to. You’re not weak, just not a fan of conflict – and if your relationship takes a turn for the worse, you won’t fight, you’ll leave.
This self-explanatory position means you’re all about the love. A romantic hugger, you just want to be close to others and are always looking for love. You’re caring, compassionate and always ready to cuddle.
