Social media users have been left in a complete frenzy this morning after both Facebook and Instagram appear to be down across the globe.
Other Facebook-owned apps like Messenger and WhatsApp are also reported to not be working in some cases.
Thousands of reports have come through across the globe of users affected by the outage after people attempted to log into the platforms only to find that the sites aren’t working.
The outage appears to be on both mobile and desktop applications and is stopping users from logging into the service, posting comments and viewing photos.
Many frustrated users have taken to one of the only working social media platforms, Twitter, to express their confusion.
