A weather warning has been issued for Sydney and surrounding suburbs today as we prepare to say goodbye to the warm weather and hello to Winter.
The Bureau Of Meteorology has issued a warning for gale force winds in places like Sydney Closed Waters, Macquarie Coast, Hunter Coast, Sydney Coast, Illawarra Coast and Batemans Coast.
There is also a strong wind warning further north for Byron Coast and Coffs Coast.

The damaging winds are believed to be in association with the strong cold front moving across the state.
Endeavour Energy has also issued a warning as the winds could affect power lines.
We’re being advised to stay at least 8 metres away from power lines if they do become damaged and to call them Endeavour Energy immediately on 131 003.
