Jimmy Barnes’ hard-hitting bestselling memoir, Working Class Boy, has been turned into a documentary.
The film recounts Barnes’ struggles early in life, growing up in poverty and battles with family violence and alcoholism, before he became an Aussie rock legend.
It includes interviews with his Cold Chisel bandmates, his son and fellow singer David Campbell, and his wife Jane.
Barnes said he was “very excited” for everyone to see the film.
Jimmy Barnes: Working Class Boy is in cinemas from August 23.
