Viola Davis, best known for her incredible work on ‘How To Get Away With Murder,’ has taken the role of Michelle Obama in a new series called ‘First Ladies’ coming up on Showtime.
‘First Ladies’ will follow the stories and lives of some incredible women who lived in the White House.
Speaking to Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show’, Fallon asked Davis whether she’d spoken to Michelle about the casting decision to which she replied she had!
“I have for several hours… and it’s terrifying. Here’s the thing. Sometimes, someone doesn’t live up to whatever image you have of them in your head. But when they do live up to the image, it’s quite frightening… She’s that cool.”
Viola Davis is a very talented actress and will almost definitely crush the role she’s been given, and she’ll be working alongside a STELLAR CAST.
We’re talking Gillian Anderson as Eleanor Roosevelt and Michelle Pfeiffer as Betty Ford!
