It’s not often that we can get through the pre-entertainment of a sporting match here in Australia without a complaint and so it’s really not too surprising to see that Twitter went to town on Aussie music group Human Nature last night.
The four singers were booked to perform ahead of the Australian Open men’s final on Sunday night between Novak Djokovic and Dominic Thiem.
But despite Human Nature being massive in the music biz, having toured the globe for over 20-years and even having their own Las Vegas residency, most people seemed surprised by the choice.
While the pre-match performance was no doubt pitch perfect, many people complained about it being too mellow for a sporting match and a little bit too old school. Although maybe not in as nice of terms…
Actually Twitter was pretty darn savage in response to the performance!
Nothing gets you more fired up for a sporting event than a bit of Human Nature. #AusOpen2020

This is a trick. Human Nature isn't a band. It's four holograms of the exact same guy. #AusOpen #AO2020
