It’s going to be a major headache for anyone heading into the city for work this morning following a crash on a motorway in Sydney.
Earlier this morning two of three citybound lanes were closed on the M4 motorway approaching Prospect Highway following a motorcycle crash.
PROSPECT: 2 of 3 citybound lanes are closed on the M4 approaching Prospect Hwy due to a motorcycle crash. Traffic is very heavy so expect delays.

Emergency services, traffic crews and a tow truck were all called to the scene.
Traffic began to build up all the way back to the M7 motorway.
All lanes have since reopened on the M4 but citybound traffic is still queued back about 6km.

Lengthy delays are expected this morning and drivers should avoid the area if possible.
