Married At first sight contestant, Tracey Jewel admitted to a suicide attempt when she was holidaying in Berlin.
She was with her partner Patrick Kedemos, in Berlin when they engaged in an intense fight, resulting in Patrick leaving the country.
‘Patrick officially ended things and Tracey was then left to arrange her own return travel back home to Australia alone after they split. But she hadn’t taken any money with her on the trip and was left stranded.’
Left ‘stranded and alone’, Tracey Jewel admitted she ‘couldn’t see a way out’ of her terrible situation. Tracey allegedly overdosed.
‘I’ve been trolled and cyber bullied relentlessly, pretty much all year [since MAFS],’ she added.
‘I’m not someone with a history of depression, but I started getting help in April because a psychologist said I might have post-traumatic stress disorder because of everything I’d been through.’
Following her arrival in Perth on Friday 3 August, Tracey was admitted to a mental health clinic. She said: ‘[My doctors] thought the best thing I could do was to have care to get better as quickly as possible.’
Tracey also told New Idea that her biological daughter Grace, eight, does not yet know about her suicide attempt because she ‘doesn’t want to scare or upset her’.

I’ve never been afraid of stepping out of my comfort zone. Life certainly has been one hell of an adventure in the past 12 months! It seems Germany has made me a tad philosophical touring around art and bookstores…. Sometimes life doesn’t go according to plan but there’s always blessings and silver linings if you look for them.. with endings always come new beginnings and as German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche says “What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger." Are you over the travel spam yet? 😉 #theendofanera #peaceout✌ #newbeginnings #newchaptersinlife #yetagain #berlinstagram #berlingermany
