Joe Exotic is banking on a pre-inauguration day miracle.
The Tiger King star, who is currently serving a 22-year sentence for animal abuse and a murder-for-hire plot against fellow big cat keeper Carole Baskin, is still hoping for a last-minute pardon by Donald Trump.
So confident is Exotic, real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage, he already has a few plans on standby – including a pre-recorded thank you video to the outgoing US President for the predicted pardon… and a limo.
“This time tomorrow, we’re going to be celebrating,” private investigator Eric Love, who is leading Exotic’s case, told Metro UK.
“We have good reason to believe it will come through.
“We’re confident enough we already have a limousine parked about half a mile from the prison. We are in action mode now.”
Exotic became a household name in 2020 after the success of the Tiger King documentary on Netflix.
CNN reports Trump is set to pardon around 100 people in the final hours of his administration before President-elect Joe Biden is sworn in on Thursday (Australian time).
