For a sneak peek of the forthcoming The Who Hits 50! tour, take a look at a new video released by the band.
The video gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the group’s tour launch, including Pete Townsend showing off his famed windmill moves, Roger Daltrey whipping the mic into a frenzy, and a tight performance of “Who Are You.” An added bonus is a quick glimpse of a typed set list which includes the songs “Squeeze Box,” “Behind Blue Eyes,” “Eminence Front,” “Magic Bus” and “Baba O’Riley.” The tour kicked off on November 30 at at the Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
The tour will kick off its spring run April 15 in Tampa, Florida, and include 20 stops throughout the East before wrapping May 30 in Forest Hills, New York. The fall leg will launch September 14 in San Diego, California, and continue with dates throughout the U.S. and across Canada before concluding November 4 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The band will performing many of the songs from the just released Who Hits 50! collection.
