Are you ready for it Sydney? Tonight is the night! Taylor Swift has touched down in our beautiful city and is preparing to get her ‘Big Reuptation’ out on stage for all of you Swifties.

But while Tay Tay prepares her voice and dance moves for what is geared up to be a performance of EPIC proportions, all of you heading to the concert at ANZ stadium should be preparing yourselves too.

80,000 people are expected to be heading to Sydney Olympic Park and if you’re one of them then this is all of the important information you need to know before leaving the house.

Everything You Need To Know If You’re Going To Taylor Swift’s Concert Tonight

With the MASSIVE amount of Tay Tay fans heading to the area for the sold out gig, ANZ Stadium and Taylor’s people have curated a list of strong safety measures to make sure everyone has a safe and fun time.


Firstly, a SMALL BAG ONLY policy will be in place. Bags the size of approximately an A4 sheet of paper (20cm x 30cm) or smaller will be permitted in the stadium and each and every one will be checked by security on the door.

There are also a number of prohibited items which might affect any fans planning on dressing up for the occasion including:

  • Battery operated fairy lights
  • Professional cameras Go Pros, iPads or other hand-held recording devices
  • Selfie sticks
  • Flags, banners or signs over A4 in size
  • Later pointers, flashlights or glow sticks
  • Any type of present for Taylor

As we’ve all learnt from Taylor Swift concerts in the past in Sydney, getting there can be a nightmare.

The advice is for people to utilise public transport options available as al tickets include travel on trains, all bus services, Sydney Ferries and light rail services.

Today is also due to be an enormously hot day and so ANZ stadium is advising fans to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. Refill stations will be available inside ANZ Stadium.
