Parts of Sydney could drop below zero degrees over the next couple of days as temperatures drop.
It’s already being felt in the state, in Cooma, where a temperature of -7 is expected to be hit early today (when it’s usually only -1.3 there).
A widespread frost will also hit the state on Thursday and Friday with Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) forecaster Rob Taggart telling Daily Mail Australia ‘Large parts of inland NSW will be sub-zero over the next few nights.’
‘It’s due to a high-pressure system across south-eastern Australia that’s not moving very fast.’
However, don’t panic Sydney, we should actually see most overnight temperatures stay at around 9C… which is still cold, just, not freezing.
