According to the Sydney New Year’s Eve Official Site (and the thousands of people queuing for a good vantage point) the best spots in Sydney to catch the fireworks (and enjoy the use of toilets and the sale of food and drinks are:
Dawes Point, The Rocks; Bradfield Park, North Sydney; Campbells Cove, Hickson Road, Sydney; Blues Point Reserve, McMahons Point; West Circular Quay; East Circular Quay; Observatory Hill Park, The Rocks; Circular Quay Promenade; Mrs Macquaries Point; Pyrmont Bay Park; Pirrama Park, Pyrmont
