If there’s one way to make the cool temperatures of Winter slightly more bearable, it’s with events like this!

This winter Sydney’s Northern Beaches will play host to a German themed Christmas Market filled with all things festive!

Run by the German International School of Sydney, this event takes place on Friday August 16 and Saturday August 17.

You’ll be able to browse through the open-air market stalls, try some traditional German food – we’re talking bratwurst, sauerkraut, pancakes, pretzels and even spicy mulled wine – all while taking in the beautiful fairy lights and music.

Plus, the whole place will be decked out just like a traditional European Christmas market so that you can finally live out your dream of a white, European christmas!

There will even be a massive bonfire to keep you nice and warm and even some marshmallows available for you to toast!

And what’s even better is that the whole thing is FREE!

Feel like getting festive this winter? It’s all going down from 5-9pm on Friday August 17 and from 4-9pm on Saturday August 18!
