Matchbox Twenty frontman Rob Thomas sees his third solo album, The Great Unknown, debut in the top 10 on the Billboard album chart at the number six spot to be exact. Rob’s last two solo albums have also reached the top 10: Something to Be hit #1 in 2005 and Cradlesong entered the chart at #3 in 2009.

The Great Unknown has so far produced the single “Trust You,” co-written with Ryan Tedder, and the brand new single, “Hold On Forever.” Rob will be on the road through November in support of The Great Unknown.

He was forced to reschedule a number of dates after his wife Marisol was diagnosed with a lesion on her brain; she’s reportedly having surgery on September 11.
