Richard Wilkins has announced that he no longer has the coronavirus in a little skit video on Instagram.
After first testing positive to the virus a few weeks ago now following contact with Rita Wilson, Richard has said that he’s now been given the all clear from NSW Health.
Hey ….sincere thanks for all the messages…I really appreciate it. It’s actually a bizarre feeling to have tested positive to this thing we’ve all been talking about. I feel 100% …no symptoms at all ! Thanks again ….love to all RW xx

In a short video posted to Instagram, Richard was seen walking his rubbish bin outside his house. In his other hand he held a cardboard Corona Beer box.
With a satisfied look on his face, Richard threw the box into the bin with an almighty slam.
“…and Coronavirus you’re outta here!” Richard wrote in the caption.
“I’ve been cleared to return to work by the incredible team at NSW Health #NEGATIVE!! Thanks all… KIA HAHA… much love. RW x”
Richard’s son Christian Wilkins, who had a coronavirus scare but ended up testing negative, wrote in the comments section saying, “I can’t wait to give you the biggest hug”.
This comes after Richard revealed just a week ago that he’d tested positive to the virus three times, despite experiencing zero symptoms. He said that he would be getting tested again and hoped for a negative result. And looks like he got it!
Now that he’s received the all clear, looks like Richard Wilkins will be returning to our TV screens on Channel Nine!
