Richard Branson is currently in Australia and of course, he had to sit down with us to discuss all things music, fitness – and Hollywood stars!
The billionaire revealed on Friday (12th October) that next week, he’ll be receiving a Hollywood star on the Walk of Fame.
‘I’m actually getting a Hollywood star on Tuesday,’ the 68-year-old revealed.
The business magnate, who launched Virgin Records back in the ‘70s, also discussed his favourite artists and songs – and we’re not gonna lie, they’re a good selection!
Rolling Stones’ ‘Satisfaction’ was the first that sprang to mind followed by Sex Pistols’ ‘Anarchy in the UK.’
And as for a stand-out concert?
‘I promoted the very first Queen concert in Hyde Park a long time ago and seeing Freddie Mercury for the first time on stage, I’ll never forget.’
Oh, to be at that concert!
The businessman, who also owns Virgin Active, also spoke about what tunes he uses as his workout jams – and it’s certainly something different!
‘I love reggae music but that’s very rarely played in workout places but when I’m on the island I’ll put on some reggae.’
Maybe blasting reggae while you work out is the key to success?
