WARNING DISTURBING FOOTAGE
The world is in mourning after three sports stars, five French TV crew and two Argentine pilots died yesterday in a helicopter crash. During the filming of the survival series ‘Dropped’ two helicopters crashed into each other in the mountains of La Rioja Province in Argentina. Sadly, there were no survivors.

Champion Sailor Florence Arthaud, 57, Olympic gold medalist swimmer Camille Muffat, 25, and Olympic boxer Alexis Vastine, 28, were among the ten killed. The death of Vastine comes just two months after his sister was killed in a car crash, aged 21.

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls, said “The Whole of France is mourning.”
Dropped involved eight sport stars being dropped into inhospitable environments for an adventure and survival themed show. This has been the worst accident in the history of reality television.

Footage of the crash has now aired on French television showing the two helicopters flying extremely close to each other. It shows their rotors clipping, resulting in them spiraling to the ground.
