It’s official! Rami Malek was awarded the Best Actor award at the 2019 Golden Globes for his performance in Bohemian Rhapsody.

“I am beyond moved. My heart is pounding out of chest right now,” he said, as he accepted the award.

Malek thanked his mother, family and Queen “for ensuring authenticity and inclusivity exists in the music and in the world and in all of us.”

His final “thank you” was for the one and only Freddie Mercury, whom he played in the film, Bohemian Rhapsody.

“I love you, you beautiful man,” Malek said.
